Robert Eugene Hills, 40, of Silver Springs, Fla., formerly of Pekin, died Monday, Jan. 23, 1995, at his home.

He was born Feb. 14, 1954, in Pekin, a son of William D. and Jean M. Correll Hills.

Surviving are his parents of Ipava; one brother, William D. Jr. of Ipava; two sisters, Linda S. Graddy of Ocala and Sharon A. Davis of Louisville, Tenn.; two nieces; four nephews; and friend, Kristi Prescott of Silver Springs.

He graduated from Pekin High School in 1972 and attended a Bible college in Fort Wayne, Ind. He served four years in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Tatanall off the coast of Iran during the hostage crisis. He worked for Odeco Oil on oil-drilling ships throughout the world. He had worked for E-One in Ocala for the past seven years. He formerly attended First Baptist Church in Pekin.

Graveside services were held Friday at Hutchinson Cemetery in Tennessee, Ill., with Rev. Randy Miller officiating.

Jones Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
