Jessie M. Hite Of Industry Dies

Jessie Marie Hite, 68, formerly of Industry, of the Macomb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center died there at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 1990.

She was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Payton City, W. Va., a daughter of Clifford and Essie Minger Huffman. She married Charles Hite on Feb. 18, 1946. He died Feb. 24, 1981.

She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one sister and an infant brother.

Surviving are three daughters, Phyllis O’Keefe of Creve Coeur, Mrs. Don (Carolyn) Chapman of Marietta and Mrs. Dan (Louise) Irwin of Industry; two sons, Frank and George, both of Industry; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Chris Huffman of Lewisville, Ohio; and four sisters, Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Lofland and Mrs. Bill (Betty) Redlaski, both of Lewisville, Mrs. Waymond (Mary) Fisher of Canton, Ohio, and Florence Sawyer of Clovis, Calif.

She lived in Ohio before her marriage and in Bushnell for a short time before moving to Industry. She was a member of Industry Methodist Church in Macomb with Rev. Donald Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Industry Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Pinhook Park in Industry or the American Diabetes Association.
