Mrs. Myrtle M. Hammond, 76, of Adair, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 19, 1980, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Mrs. Hammond was born Nov. 16, 1903, in Adair, the daughter of Frank and Emma Heffner Wilson. She married Leonard C. Hammond on Jan. 6, 1925. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Surviving are one son, Leonard V. of Adair; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Barbara) Sayers of Industry; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a former member of the Pilot Grove EUB Church and had resided in Adair all her life.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harley Wilson.
Funeral services were held Monday at Clugston Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Franklin Silas officiating. Burial was in Pennington Point Cemetery.
