Earl Hollinger, 74, of Fairfield, Ill., died in the Way-Fair Nursing Home in Fairfield, on April 16. He had been in the nursing home since December.
Mr. Hollinger owned and operated a greenhouse and an uptown flower shop for many years but retired a few years ago on account of ill health.
He was the oldest son of David and Grace Hollinger who formerly were Astoria residents.
He is survived by his widow, Vivian, three daughters and 8 grandchildren. His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services were held in the Nale Funeral home with burial in Maple Hills Cemetery in Fairfield.
