Chester A. Hopping Dies In Hospital

Chester Arthur Hopping, 64, of rural Vermont, died Tuesday morning, March 10, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born May 27, 1905, in Pleasant Township, a son of James O. and Mary Frances Bowen Hopping. He was a farmer, and was never married.

Surviving are two brothers, Benny of Vermont, and Ghlee of Plymouth, and one sister, Miss Rosella Hopping of Vermont. Five sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Vermont Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Church in Vermont with Rev. E. L. Dunavin officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
