VeteranWalter Hadlock Dies

Walter Hadlock, son of Bessie Hadlock of Plano, Ill., was born on Sept. 8, 1913 and resided there until he entered World War II. He served with the Army and then with the Air Force for several years. Mr. Hadlock met Mrs. Cleavinger after his honorable discharge in Chicago and they were married four years ago. From Chicago they moved to Cuba, Ill., and from there to the country home known as the Earl Shawgo property near Camp Emmanuel. Mr. Hadlock suffered a heart attack about five years ago and has been in poor health since. A daughter Vera was born to them a little over a year ago. He entered the Veteran's hospital in Chicago the latter part of June for tests. His wife visited him there. He suffered a heart attack and passed away on July 3. She is left to mourn him, besides their small daughter, two sons by a former marriage and four children born to his wife by a former marriage. They have resided at the present place for two years. Mr. Hadlock was buried in a Chicago cemetery.
