Word has been received here of the death of Oscar Horton of Lewistown, who passed away February 24 at the Lewistown Nursing Home, at the age of 92 years.
He was born on a farm near Astoria on Nov. 24, 1867. On June 30, 1892 in Astoria, he married Grace Wilson, who passed away May 28, 1952. Mr. Horton was a coal miner in Astoria in his early life before moving to Lewistown.
Survivors include one daughter, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, and one brother, Sidney Horton of Astoria.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Zimmerman and Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
