IPAVA — Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Harland of Abingdon, formerly of Vermont, died recently at St. Mary’s hospital, Galesburg, where she had been a patient for 16 weeks. Funeral services were held at Abingdon.
Mrs. Harland was born at Vermont, Dec. 9, 1870, and was married Sept. 10, 1893 to Ephraim Harland who survives. Also surviving are seven sons and daughters, Forrest and Ferris of Canton; Souvie of Colchester, Plett and Mrs. Phillip Nelson, both of Abingdon; a brother, Clarence Guiter of Abingdon; a sister, Mrs. Clara Atherton of Ipava; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A daughter, a sister and a brother are deceased.
