MARY ELIZABETH HIBBLER

Mary Hibbler

Mary Elizabeth Hibbler, eighteen months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Hibbler of Quincy, was drowned when she fell from her high chair into a five gallon jar of water in the kitchen of the Hibbler home, Saturday afternoon. The baby was in her high chair finished her dinner, and the parents were in the yard preparing to wash their automobile. Mrs. Hibbler put up pickles Friday, using the jar for that purpose. She filled the jar with water, intending to clean it Saturday afternoon and put it away. The jar was back of the child’s high chair.
