Fannie Hamilton Of Detroit Died In Canton Thursday

Mrs. Fannie Hamilton, Detroit, Mich., died at 4:00 o’clock Thursday morning at the Fred Reihm residence, Canton, where she has been visiting recently. She has been ill for the past year.

She was born April 1, 1871, in Bader, a daughter of George and Nancy Elizabeth (Venters) Mitchell. She married Cyrus Hamilton in Canton about 36 years ago. There are two children, May and Harry, both living in Detroit. There is also a grandchild, Patricia Ann.

Brothers and sisters living are: Ira Mitchell, Macomb; Mrs. Laura Kirkbride, Vermont; Mrs. Clay Seaton, El Paso; Mrs. Ed Malstrom, Canton; Mrs. Paul Lancaster, Low Point and Mrs. A. D. Camp, Low Point.

Mrs. Hamilton was a member of the Woman’s Relief Corps.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Murphy Memorial home with the Rev. H. W. Talley officiating. There was large attendance with many floral offerings. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
