Seaborn Haines

VERMONT — Seaborn Haines, son of Daniel and Louisa Haines, was born in Missouri, October 26, 1871, and died in Vermont, Illinois, October 14, 1920, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 18 days. His father and mother preceded him in death, as have two sisters, Mrs. Laura Quinn and Mrs. Rebecca Herrell, and also a brother, Leonard Haines. One sister, Mrs. Emma Louder, survives him. He was never married by spent most of his life in Vermont and vicinity. He was a quiet and unobtrusive man, always a hard worker. A man ready to do a favor, and to help a man in need. He has been sick for a good while, gradually growing worse and despite all that medical skill could to to help him, he passed away quietly, October fourteenth in his home village. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church Saturday afternoon, the sixteenth, by Rev. Olin W. Rose, and burial made in the Vermont cemetery.
