IPAVA — Mrs. Maria Hart died at her home in Ipava Monday, Aug. 2, after a long illness, aged 79 years. On October 1, 1868 she was united in marriage to Jacob Hart and to them seven children were born, one of whom died at the age of sixteen years. Mr. Hart passed away Jan. 1, 1895. Those of the children who survive are: Mrs. Mary Gilson and Miss Effie Hart of Ipava; John D. Hart of Grand Forks, N.D., Will and Frank of Chicago and Sam of Pennsylvania. She also leaves three sisters: Miss Martha Cope of Ipava; Mrs. Kate Hollenbaugh, McCune, Kansas; Mrs. Frances Lovell, Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral services were held from the Christian church on Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Ipava cemetery.
