Brother Dead

Lewistown Record: Charles Howell, aged 48 years, died Thursday night at the home of William Clannin on South Mechanic street, death resulting from dropsy and heart trouble. He had resided at Havana until five weeks ago when he came to this city to make his home.

The wife died about five years ago. He leaves five children, three sisters and two brothers, all residing in this county. Mrs. Charles Elgin of Astoria and J. H. Howell of Ipava, sister and brother, arrived in the city during the morning, having had no knowledge of their brother’s whereabouts until they learned of his death.

The burial will be in the Ipava cemetery, and the funeral will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at the Clanin home, conducted by Rev. H. C. Reichel.
