VERMONT — Henry Hickey was born in Ottawa, Canada, June 5, 1831, and died July 1, 1920, at the age of 89 years and 25 days. He was of French Canadian descent, but as a young man chose to make his home in the United States. He came to Peoria, Illinois, where he made his home for several years. He came to Vermont where he resided the remainder of his life. In 1886 he was married to Sarah Margaret McCurdy. Mrs. Hickey preceded him in death, Dec. 11, 1911. Funeral services were held at the home, Saturday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Fred Wilson. Interment in the Vermont cemetery.
