ADAIR — John Hammond, an aged and highly respected citizen passed away at his home about four miles southeast of Adair Thursday morning June 24, at 3:30 o’clock after a lingering illness of complications due to old age, he being about 82 years of age. Funeral service will be conducted at the home at 2 o’clock Friday by Rev. J. W. Hiett of St. Augustine. A more extended obituary will be printed later.
