CLYDE LEWIS HUMPHREY

Clyde Humphrey

Clyde Humphrey, who late Saturday night shot and killed his girl-wife, killed himself on Sunday after attempting to kill his wife’s stepfather at their home near Quincy. After eluding searching officers all night, Humphrey appeared at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mason, his wife’s parents, early Sunday morning. He shot several times at Mr. Mason, but missed. He then went into a corn field near by and shot himself through the head.
