A telegram was received here Thursday stating that Paul, the seventeen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hitchcock of Roberts, Mont., had died, following an operation.
Mr. and Mrs. Hitchcock were residents of Astoria several years ago, at which time Mr. Hitchcock was engaged in the barber business. Their son, Paul was born here.
Mrs. Hitchcock is a sister of Mrs. Edw. McClelland, who left Thursday night for the Hitchcock home to attend the funeral.
