IPAVA — Hiram Hunt was born Feb. 10, 1818 in Orleans county, N. Y. He died at Lewistown, Ill., January 25, 1900, at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 14 days. He leaves six children born to him by Mrs. Mary Walters Hunt. These are Jane Nunnamaker, Daniel, Mary Livingston, Sarah Grewell, Annette Johnson and Catherine Mathews. He leaves four children by his second wife, Mrs. Catherine Markley Hunt. These are Alice Freiley, Charles, Hiram and George. All are living to mourn his death. When about 12 years of age he came together with his parents moved to Ashtubula county, Ohio, where he resided until 1834, when he moved to Fulton county where he resided until his death. He was a member of Co F, 84th U. S. Infantry. His remains were laid to rest in the Lacey cemetery.

LEWISTOWN — Hiram Hunt, of Pleasant township, died on Thursday last at the home of C. G. Matheny, of this city.
