IPAVA — Died in Ipava Jan. 22nd of typhoid-pneumonia, Mrs. Ruth Amanda Haynes, aged 67 years. Deceased was born in Mason County, Kentucky, in 1827, and married to Wm. Jones in 1848, and came to this county with her husband and one child, and settled near Duncan Mill in 1853. Her husband died in 1854 and in 1856 [she] united in marriage to John D. Haynes, to this union three children were born, Mrs. Cecelia Broomall, Mr. Ogden Haynes and Mrs. Mary Forth. For the last three years she has been making her home with her son, Alphass Jones. Mother Haynes was a kind christian lady, devoted to family and friends. The bereaved husband, and heart-stricken children have the sympathy of many friends in their sad bereavement. Funeral at the house on Wednesday, Jan. 24th, at 2 o’clock p.m. and remains interred in charnel house among the dead.
