She was born in Canton, a daughter of William Taylor and Ann L. Day Taylor. She married James Gorsuch on Sept. 5, 1980. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, John Gorsuch of Minnesota, Ashlyn (and Mo) Lowery, Raven (and Marco) Gorsuch, Jimmy Lee Gorsuch, Erik Gorsuch, Kayvaughne Gorsuch, Kai’Andris Gorsuch and Dessica Gorsuch, all of Decatur, and Allisha (and Cameron) Gorsuch of Springfield; three siblings, Peter Taylor, Robert Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor; six half siblings, Linda Peterson, Jeneanne Marble, Marsha Black, William Taylor, Jackson Taylor and Charles Taylor; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth, Jackson, Linda and William.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at United Funeral Home, 515 West Wood St., Decatur.
