David S. Goodman, 77, of Lewistown died Oct. 13, 2024, at his residence.David S. Goodman, 77, of Lewistown died Oct. 13, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1947, in Canton, a son of Kenneth and Mary Eskridge Goodman.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Goodman; and one sister, Rochelle Derry.
Surviving are three nieces, two great-nephews, four great-nieces and two great-great-nephews.
He graduated from Lewistown Community High School in 1965, and then attended Western Illinois University in Macomb. He was the owner of Goodman’s Sawmill in Lewistown for over 40 years.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his great-great-nephew, Zaelen Kleinlein.
