He was born Nov. 24, 1954, in Macomb, a son of Marshal Leroy and Marinetta Teel Gorsuch. He also lived with John and Betty Ingles for a short time. He married Lynn Phillips on Aug. 2, 1975, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Megan Gorsuch of Lansing, Mich., and Kimberly Gorsuch of Chicago; one son, Jack Gorsuch at home; and one sister, Vicky Gorsuch Talamantez of San Antonio, Texas.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Gorsuch and Gary Gorsuch.
He was a 1972 graduate of Rushville High School. He was an insurance agent and financial planner for many years. He was a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). He was a member of the Rushville Masonic Lodge #9 AF and AM.
A private graveside service will be held. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
