Robert "Bus" GrayRobert D. “Bus” Gray, 87, of rural Lewistown died Nov. 14, 2019, at his home.

He was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Cuba, a son of Orville and Vada Peak Gray. He married Annabel C. Lynch on March 30, 1955, in Palmyra, Mo. She died July 26, 2004.

He also was preceded in death by one son, David Gray; four brothers; and one infant sister.

Surviving are one daughter, Vickie (and Dan) Coon of Galesburg; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He owned and operated Robert D. Gray and Son Trucking from 1953 until he retired in 2003. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Daniel Siems officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with military services by the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.

Memorials may be made to the Lewistown American Legion Post.
