He was born June 26, 1981, in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Bonnie J. Bowen Gossage. He married Amy Strange on March 15, 2003, in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Eli Joe Lee Gossage at home; one sister, Sarah (and Paul) Otto of Aurora, Colo.; and stepfather, Harold Vore of Eldon, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He grew up in Vermont and attended and graduated from VIT High School in May of 2000. As an adult, he moved to Macomb.
He attended Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb with Pastor Donnie Case officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in Browning.
