He was born Dec. 14, 1980, in Canton, a son of Millard William Johnson Jr. and Lila Ellen Gillham. He married Kelley Bedenbender on Oct. 31, 2008, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother Lila Ellen Gillham, his father and stepmother Millard William and Melba Johnson, all of Rushville; two stepsons, Michael (and Ashley) Thompson of Bushell and Matthew (and April) Thompson of Blandinsville; one stepdaughter, Kellie Jo Thompson of Rushville; one brother, Shawn (and Jennifer) Gillham of Trivoli; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Henry and Wanda Darlyne Gillham and Millard William and Melba Lou Johnson Sr.
He was a 1999 graduate of Rushville High School and also received a diploma from Project Insight. He was a self-employed handyman.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Palm Cemetery west of Rushville with Pastor Greg Fish officiating. Burial will follow. Wood Funeral Home of Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
