Laura GrayLaura F. Gray, 82, of Lewistown died at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 8, 2013, at Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.

She was born June 3, 1931, in Kuttawa, Ky., a daughter of John C. and Effie L. Futrell Hargrove. She married George "Leo" Gray on May 14, 1988, in rural Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are four children, Phyllis (and Mike) Rowley of Kingman, Kan., David Kane of Jacksonville, Linda Cornett of Centerville, Utah, and Larry Kane of Pleasant Plains; one stepdaughter, Julia Gray of Vancouver, Wash.; one brother, Jimmy (and Mary) Bryson of Arnold, Mo.; one sister, Edna Noel of Arnold, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

She had a wide career of jobs including a foreman for Stewart Warner and Bun O Matic. She also was a cook for a tow boat company.

Services were held Tuesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Eric Sawyer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
