Rev. Ray GreenfieldReverend Ray K. Greenfield, 57, of Lewistown died at 8:45 p.m. April 1, 2012, at his home.

He was born Jan. 27, 1955, in Norfolk, Va., the son of Donald and Geraldine Tosh Greenfield. He first married Susan E. Ozier. He later married Helen K. Ronat on May 7, 1995, in Jacksonville. She survives.

Also surviving are his stepmother, Barbara Greenfield of Vincennes, Ind.; one son, Michael (and Deejah) Greenfield of Springfield; two daughters, Meagan Greenfield of St. Louis, Mo., and Allison Greenfield of Williamsville; one sister, Kay Lolling of Lincoln; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from MacMurray College in Jacksonville in 2000. He then graduated from University of Chicago Divinity School in 2003.

He was the pastor at Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown and Ipava Christian Church. He was a chaplain at Graham Hospital in Canton. He also was the former pastor at First Christian Church in Rushville.

He was a member of Jacksonville Family Campers Club.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown with Reverend Terry Foland officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville East Cemetery where a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
