Donald Otis Green, 73, of Vermont died at 10:33 a.m. Sept. 22, 2008, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Schuyler County, the son of Roy Ester and Melissa Eva Byland Green. He married Marilyn Joyce Richey on June 1, 1958. She preceded him in death on Nov. 25, 2004.

Surviving are one son, Edward A. (and Angie) Green of Macomb; three daughters, Beth E. (and John Cox) of Macomb, Janet K. (and Darren) Rind of Aledo and Jo Lynn (and Lyle) Payne of Macomb; and six grandchildren.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He worked at Adair Lumber Yard and Vermont Foundry.

He was a member of IOOF Lodge #79 and Rebekah Lodge #53.

Services were held Friday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Wally Holt officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
