Russell Gilmore

Russell C. Gilmore, 73, of Petersburg died June 12, 2006, at Retama Manor Nursing Home in Wislaco, Texas.

He was born April 1, 1933, a son of Steve and Edna Gilmore.

Surviving are his wife, Janet; two daughters, Cathy (and Rick) Burgard and Pam (and Lyle) Burgard; one son, Rusty; one brother, Frank Gilmore; one sister, Betty Rueter; two granddaughters; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He retired from Maclean Forge in Havana in 1998.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nazarene Church in Havana. Burial will be in Camp Butler Cemetery in Springfield with military honors accorded.
