Rev. Pius R. Gibble, 90, of Greenville, Ohio, died at 11:56 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville.
He was born May 17, 1915, in Astoria, a son of Harvey M. and Ilda R. Rohrbaugh Gibble. He married Lois C. Royer. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul (and Terri) of Centerville, Ohio, and Tim (and Susan) of Holden Beach, N.C.; one sister, Mary Wilson of Dayton, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold.
He was formerly the pastor of Middle District, Kokomo and Hagerstown Church of the Brethren. He also was the chaplain at the Brethren Home for 10 years.
Private graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson, Ohio. Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
