Marilyn "Joyce" Green, 68, of Vermont died at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
She was born Nov. 11, 1936, in McDonough County, a daughter of Donald S. and Elizabeth Hamm Richey. She married Donald O. Green on June 1, 1958, in Fulton County. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Edward (and Angie) Green of Macomb; and three daughters, Beth Green (and John Cox) of Macomb, Janet (and Darren) Rind of Aledo and Jolynn (and Lyle) Payne of Macomb; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by infant twin brothers and one infant sister.
She was an RN and pediatrics nurse for 47 years, retiring from McDonough District Hospital in 1995. She graduated from Graham Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.
She was a member of Rebekah Lodge 53 and past president of District 11. She also was a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows Lodge 79.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Services were held Monday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
