Eleaner W. Goveia, 82, of Bernadotte died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at her home.
She was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Peoria Heights, the daughter of Frederick A. and Frances Storts Schulz. She married Weir Goveia on May 15, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He died March 20, 1986.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Theodore, and one brother, Charles Schulz.
Surviving are three daughters, Janet (and James) Shank of Macomb, Elaine (and Larry) Chambers of Bernadotte and Joyce (and Carroll) Crouse of Table Grove; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She owned and operated Parkview Restaurant in Bernadotte for 30 years, retiring in 1994.
She attended Ipava Christian Church.
Services were held Thursday at her church with Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to McDonough County Hospice in Macomb.
