M. Irene Games, 83, of Macomb, died at 8:59 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2002, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
She was born Aug. 31, 1918, in Scotland Township, McDonough County, a daughter of Marion E. and Mary Barrett Plank. She married Earnest E. "Johnny" Games on Aug. 12, 1950, in Kahoka, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Gerald Holmes of Colchester; one daughter, Ruth Games DeRosa of Colchester; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Kellum; and one brother, Gail Plank.
She was a graduate of Industry High School and was a member of the Doddsville United Methodist Church. She and her husband lived in Macomb, Good Hope, Blandinsville and Ipava before moving back to Macomb in 1995.
Services were held Friday at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope.
