George Leroy Grim, 64, of Weatherford, Texas, formerly of Canton, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Canton, a son of Donald and Blanch Grim. He married Jeanette Newman. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Donald Grim of Weatherford and David (and Rena) Grim of Palmdale, Calif.; one daughter, Shelley Tobias of Weatherford; six grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and one brother, Larry (and Gwyn) Grim of Yuma, Ariz.
He was a member of the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in Weatherford.
He was a retired printing press operator from the Los Angeles area. He was an avid horse lover, rancher and member of the Appaloosa Association.
Services were held Wednesday at the Couts Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Vaughn Baker officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.
