Sandra "Sandy" Waldo Griffin, 53, of Springfield, formerly of Havana, died at 12:53 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1948, in Waukesha, Wis., the daughter of Wayne and Margie Hopping Waldo. She married Charles Griffin on Oct. 4, 1981, in Havana. He died March 13, 1996.
Surviving are one son, James (and Becky) of Havana; two daughters, Bethany (and Steve) Lovell of Springfield and Judy (and Randy) Gossage of Macomb; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Waldo and Norman Waldo, both of Oakford, and Gary Waldo of Astoria.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held Monday at Hurley Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Shook officiating. Burial was in Oakford Cemetery in Oakford.
Memorials may be made to a fund established in her name at Havana National Bank.
