Memorial graveside services for Lillian L. Gasaway and Gerald N. Gasaway, both of Browning, will be held Saturday, April 10, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bluff City Church in rural Browning with Rev. Gerald Sawyer officiating.

Lillian Gasaway, 77, died at 8:04 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, in Graham Hospital in Canton.

Gerald Gasaway, 69, died at 7:06 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 1994, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

Lillian was born March 15, 1921, in Bluff CIty, a daughter of Loren and Evanna Parks Fisher. She married Alva “Bud” Predmore, who was killed in World War II. She later married Gerald Gasaway on July 13, 1946, in Peoria.

Surviving are two sons, Gene Predmore of Macomb and Terry Joe Gasaway of East Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Jonathan (Gerri) Jones of East Peoria; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Juanita Mathena of Colchester; two half-sisters, Darlene Jarnet of Orlando, Fla., and Romona Teel of Industry; one half-brother, Gary Fisher of Macomb; and several nieces and nephews.

Gerald is survived by one sister, Mrs. Herb (Liz) Bingaman of Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Gerald was a warehouse foreman at Standard Wine and Liquors in Peoria, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Teamsters Local 627 in Peoria and the Masonic Lodge.

Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
