Carl A. Goudy Dies At Age 79

Carl A. Goudy, 79, of Lewistown, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 1990, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born March 17, 1910, in Bernadotte Township, the son of Frank and Minnie Krider Goudy. He married Helen Lois Crabtree on Sept. 29, 1934, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Dec. 7, 1989.

He was also preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include one son, Frank Goudy of Macomb; one daughter, Lois Ann Holler of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Clair Goudy of Hudson, Fla. and Harold Goudy of Galesburg.

He was a retired farmer and served on the former Fulton County Board of Supervisors for 14 years and the reorganized County Board.

He also served as Isabel Township Supervisor for 20 years and was past president of the Nailrod Foutch School Board of Directors. He was a member of the Lewistown Optimist Club.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Mark Kaley officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
