Owen J. Greer, 100, of Schuyler County, died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville. He resided at Astoria Care Center.
Mr. Greer was born April 10, 1880 in Rushville Twp., Schuyler County, the son of Martin W. and Susan Kruse Greer.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are one nephew and six nieces.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Hermetet, and three brothers, Frederick, Luther and Henry.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
