Charley Gossage Of Rushville Dies

Charley R. Gossage, 42, of 211 S. Congress, Rushville, died at 5:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 1980, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was a farmer and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 506.

Born June 23, 1938, in Schuyler County, a son of Sam and Velva Croxton Gossage, he married Sandra Katzenburger Feb. 28, 1976, in Rushville.

Surviving are his wife; his mother of Rushville; two daughters, Tammy and Vicki, and one son, Steven, all in Pleasant Hill, N.J.

Also surviving are four stepchildren, Mark, Samantha, Danny and Trixie, all of Rushville; one sister, Mrs. Peggy Warden of Beardstown; and three brothers, Paul of Astoria, Leslie of Springfield and Jack of Frederick.

His father and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville with Rev. Larry Childers officiating. Burial was in Gillette Cemetery, Schuyler County.
