Mrs. Eva Groff, 78, Ipava resident, died about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Havana Nursing Home where she had resided the past 14 months.
Born Nov. 11, 1881 in Pleasant Township, a daughter of George and Ella Boyles Huff, she was married on July 4, 1900 to Sam Groff who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Ted of Ipava, Howard of Lewistown, and George of Ray, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. E. E. Catlin in Ipava Christian church. Burial will be in Ipava cemetery.
Friends may call at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
