WILLIAM GABRIELL

William Gabriell

VERMONT — Wm. Gabriell died at his home in this place on Monday evening, April 16, from the effect of a dose of Paris Green taken the Saturday preceding with suicidal intent. Mr. Gabriell had been despondent for some weeks brooding over financial troubles, imaginary and real, and had been trying to drown his troubles in strong drink. He was a native of Burlington, Iowa, born in 1855. He was a cigar maker and worked at Bushnell where he was married to Miss Mary Gardner. They moved here two years ago. Mr. Gabriell carried $3,000 life insurance, $2,000 of which was in the Modern Woodman and $1,000 in the Home Forum. His funeral occurred the following Wednesday and was largely attended.
