He was born Dec. 5, 1958, in Springfield, a son of Carl and Loretta Harbauer Fleck. He married Linda Emerick on Sept. 11, 1982, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Charlie (and Chanda) of Rushville; one daughter, Dr. Erica (and Chad) Person of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; six brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
He graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1977.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
