He was born Dec. 17, 1929, a son of Arch and Florence Neikamp Funkenbusch of Palmyra, Mo. He married Dorothy Ann Archer on Feb. 3, 1952. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, David (and Chaem), Philip, Lisa Hellman (and Robert) and Marty Lane (and Rick); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Don; and one sister, Shirley Rathbun.
He graduated from Palmyra High School and was a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Agriculture. He was employed in the Agriculture field all his career.
A Celebration of Life was held Aug. 13 at First United Methodist Church in Havana. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana was in charge of arrangements.
