She was born April 10, 1953, in Rushville, a daughter of Maurice Fred and Roma Kepler Edwards. She married Randall Fuqua on Oct. 27, 1973, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one brother, David (and Thursa) Edwards of Rushville; one sister, Susan (and Kurt) Fiedler of Bartonville; and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by one nephew, Jeremiah Edwards.
She graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1971 and later cosmetology school. She was an order clerk for Dot Foods in Mount Sterling.
She was a member of Rushville First Presbyterian Church. She also belonged to the Rushville Late Knight Cruisers Car Club and the Jacksonville Thunderbird Car Club.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
