She was born Oct. 24, 1911, in Lewistown, the daughter of Otis L. and Frances Fluke Bowman. She married J. Edward Ferguson on Oct. 31, 1931. He died Oct. 26, 1988.
Surviving are numerous cousins, including Mary (Bowman) Raker of Astoria, Evelyn (Bowman) Gibson of Olathe, Kan., Kathleen Williams of Lewistown and Jane Hungerford of Smithfield.
In their early years, Louise and Ed were evangelists in the Methodist church and traveled with her parents. In the 1940s, they joined Church of the Nazarene denomination where they pastored churches in Florissant and Kirksville, Mo., Milwaukee, Wis., and Virden; among others. She was a member of Lewistown Church of the Nazarene.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at her church with pastors Terry Vance, Randy Munson and Ithel Kenser officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
