Justin Cole FoglesongJustin Cole Foglesong, 20, of Astoria died at 3 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006, at his home.

He was born May 13, 1985, in Galesburg, a son of Steve and Linda Webster Foglesong.

Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Nate (and Hannah) and Drew, both of Ipava; one sister, Kaitlin at home; maternal grandparents, Harry and Carolyn Foglesong of Toulon; and maternal great-grandfather, Roland Webster of Toulon.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents; and paternal great-grandparents.

He was a 2003 Astoria High School graduate where he was an All-State football player for the South Fulton Rebels. He was awards the All-Area team in football for both the Macomb Journal and the Peoria Journal Star. He also was All-Area in basketball for the Macomb Journal. He attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, earned a varsity letter in football and was awarded the Mr. Hustle Award for the Highlanders.

He was a member of the Illinois Beef Association and the Cattleman's Beef Association.

He worked for Black Gold Ranch in Astoria and Vermont.

Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Ken Peterson officiating. Burial was at Black Gold Ranch in Vermont.

Memorials may be made to the Cole Foglesong Athletic Award fund in care of Farmers State Bank of Astoria, Black Gold Hunt or Summum Christian Church.
