Ivan Ford

Ivan C. Ford, 67, of Lewistown died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Prairieview Care Center.

He was born May 9, 1918, in rural Lewistown, the son of Frank C. and Effie H. Clifford Ford.

Surviving are two nephews, Paul (and Connie) Ford of Ipava and Glen (and Aline) Ford of Peoria, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

A member of Fulton County Farm Bureau, he farmed in the Lewistown area all his life before retiring. He also retired as a mail carrier for Lewistown Post Office. He then was a school bus driver for Lewistown School District for many years.

He was a life member of Lewistown Masonic Lodge 104, AF&AM, and Lewistown Odd Fellows Lodge 51. He was a member of Mohammed Temple Shrine in Peoria, and Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria.

He was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Bill Bunnage officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.

Memorials may be made to Lewistown Rescue Squad.
