Keith France

Keith Eugene France, 74, of Havana died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Fulton County, a son of Neville and Olive Curless France. He married Eileen Skaggs on Feb. 21, 1981, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother; one son, Brian (and Dawn) of Yorkville; three daughters, Becky France of Old Monroe, Mo., Julie (and Ron) Howell of LeRoy and Terri (and Jim) Weldy of Havana; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Kenneth (and Della) of Havana; and two sisters, Carol Irwin of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Mary Potts of Havana.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Heaver.

He worked for Moorman Manufacturing Co. in Fulton County, retiring in 1986.

He was a member of Havana Lodge 88 AF&AM.

Graveside services were held June 7 with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Hurley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
