Ronald H. Flood, 92, of Astoria died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Dec. 1, 1911, in London, the son of Henry Richard and Edith Wells Flood. He married Virginia Lee Campbell on Nov. 5, 1950, in Chicago. She died Oct. 17, 1994.

He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Moss and Gladys Chadwick.

Surviving are two sons, Richard (and Carol) of Jackson, Tenn., and Ronald Jr. (and Paula) of Toronto; and three grandchildren.

He was a World War II veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

He worked as a salesman for various companies for 40 years.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Astoria Cemetery with Cliff Parry officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
