Pauline Ford

Pauline M. Ford, 91, of Cuba died at Clayberg Fulton County Nursing Center at 4:10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2003.

She was born Jan. 9, 1912, in Canton, a daughter of Richard C. and Martha Ella Frame Heffron. She married Carl L. Ford on Nov. 28, 1935, in Canton. He died May 25, 1980.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are two sons, Paul (and Connie) of Ipava and Glen (and Aline) of Peoria, Ariz.; her twin sister, Josephine Wick of Canton; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and had operated Mode-A-Day dress shop in Canton for several years.

A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lewistown, she was a past president of the Altar and Rosary Society.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at her church with Rev. Robert O'Connor officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with recitation of the rosary at 4:45 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Canton.

Memorials may be made to the Clayberg Fulton County Nursing Center activity department.
